the sc is officially my second home. seriously, excluding the time i sleep at home, i spend more time in the sc than at home. haha. today i was in school with a whole load of other councillors from like 7.30am-6pm. that's almost 12 hours. gosh. shirley jordan iven tim evan and i were trying to hang the gold cloth on the poster but it was, like jordan said, hua she tian zhu. it was damn ugly. in the end we decided to put really huge arrows pointing to our banner that say look here! haha. we haven't finished putting up the arrows yet but we're staying back on monday to do it. yup.
iven peh and jordan chng were being lame again. iven is damn aunty lah! all of us call him aunty now. when we were at macs having breakfast we were asking him why buy milo don't buy tea then he was like actually i wanted to but buy from coffeeshop is cheaper. then when we were trying to hang the cloth to the teachers' day poster the sun was like shining on us and he was like wah so hot! oh my gosh soooooooo aunty. haha. and jordan is damn lame too. nearly died walking to the stationary shop with him to buy twine. first he made me take a bus out then he was being damn lame. but we also talked about other stuff like how irritating having younger siblings can be. haha.
a lot of us are really good at understanding the lame stuff iven and jordi say already. haha. cos of all the training we had on tuesday. then on thursday we had to endure more lame stuff. now u can understand everything lame they say. haha. all pros already.
loi min and jordan were being damn irritating and kept bullying me. especially that loi. enough lah u guys... haha. talking to chris and jordi online now. the both of them are seriously lame. saying some pokemon stuff. haha.
anw just wanna thank 29th for being there for me when i was feeling really upset on friday. shirley min coll steffi xiaoxuan sophia evan jordan cheam loi yijie brandon tim chris. I LOVE YOU GUYS TO THE MAX. thank you so much for cheering me up. seriously, i was really touched. because of councillors like you, all the LONG hours spent in school was worth it. and i don't care what he thinks anymore. i'm proud of what we've done. tired but happy. (:

well the only downside of my extremely hectic council life is that i hardly get to spend time with my class after school anymore. i'm so sorry guys. i really really miss hanging out with you people. you people make me so happy! i really treasure the breaks where i get to sit and joke with all of you. S07 rocks. I LOVE YOU GUYS TO THE MAX TOO. thanks for all the gossiping and the laughter. haha. (:
mel said it was the moment I was waiting for cos I always said it was only a matter of time before serene explodes in the cc and captures everyone's attention. Well I imagined her exploding into laughter but I suppose a scream was just as bad. Haha.
anw we spent the whole morning entertaining some MINDS clients. I never thought bringing them around school would be so tiring. But thank God for mel. She was so high that you could just feel her energy coming over you. Thanks mel. (:
After school met Shirley cos we were gonna help the marketing comm with their teachers' day poster. First we went out of school for lunch and bubble tea. Then we went to the sc to write letters (we wanted to play batumi but the cupboards were all locked. Darn it.). We were in the sc from like 2-4pm then chris showed up. Before you say we were being unproductive and all just want to let you know that it was cos we weren't sure of what to do and we couldn't call the-person-in-charge (Jordan chng) cos he was busy with grad night comm meeting.
But it turned out that he was busy spamming iven peh's tagboard with my name! Read below to find out what he did. Melody and Jordan are both JORDAN and chris is chris. JORDAN YOU'RE SO DEAD ON THURSDAY!

To think I stayed back to help with the poster when I really didn't need to. To think both Shirley and I waited TWO HOURS just so we could help him when we weren't in marketing comm at all.
Anw doing the poster was really eventful. Haha. Especially because of iven peh and Jordan chng. They were both being really really lame! just look at some of the stupid things they said.
When someone's phone vibrated:
Iven peh: aiyoh your phone is so cold.
Mel: iven peh you're so lame!
Iven peh: no I can walk what.
When we finished our poster:
Mel: oh my gosh I'm so high now!
Jordan: what's your height?
Mel: 167
Jordan: not very high what.
(mel walks over to smack Jordan)
Jordan: the air at 17+ is so fresh!
Jeremy: the air at 18+ is so hard to breathe.
Iven: I can be a pe teacher in the lecture hall.
Mel: why?
Iven: cos I can give them abs.
And many MANY other lame stuff. Shirley was like thank goodness they're not both in functions otherwise we'll die. But they're both doing banner so yeah, I think the rest of us are in for a rough time. Haha.
All of us were being damn high and super noisy in the sc. us being the functions people doing the poster (Shirley Jordan chris and I) and the grad night comm people (min iven Jeremy geri and xiaoxuan). Everyone was shouting at each other, we were laughing like crazy, Jordan and the guys kept playing with the toy gun, Melvin kept shouting stupid stuff from the council room, I found out why jordan is called pigeon (he's now my pet pigeon) and the aunty who stalked Melvin... haha. But I was extremely thankful for all for them cos they kept me entertained throughout the day. I would not have endured for so long if not for them. By 8.30 there were Shirley Jordan Jeremy min iven Melvin and I left in the sc.
Wanna thank everyone in the sc who were helping with the teachers' day poster.

Despite everyone overusing him, he's still doing his best to help all of us. Seriously, EVERYONE needs him in one way or another. He's not only helping functions (he's in events, but he's doing a lot of marketing stuff as well), but also open house and grad night. On top of that, he's in charge of our council jersey and there's talk that he should do our council blog as well. Chris just wanna thank you so much for all you help.
Next is iven peh. He's also overused cos he's one of the 2 arty farty people in council (other one is chris). Even though he was really busy with grad night publicity, he still helped us with the poster by writing the awards. And it's super nice. Shirley was most impressed cos she never imagined iven could be so good in art. Iven was super busy on Tuesday cos grad night comm and functions kept shouting for him. Thanks iven!

For the past few weeks, when council life has really taken its toll on me and I'm tired or stressed, somehow I always bump into geri around school and the huge smile on her face really lifts me up. Thanks geri.
Finally our dear marketing head Jordan chng! Haha. even though he always bullies me (and uses my name illegally to spam other people's blogs), he's done a lot so far and I'm really impressed by how responsible he is. Haha. but he doesn't really like me having a good impression of him cos every time I do, he does something stupid and spoils my impression of him. Haha. but yes Jordan's done a good job so far.
